Chapter 2:

Rigby was awoken by the sound of the front door closing. He looked at the clock, 1:20 AM. He listened as the stairs creaked and the door to the room opened slowly. It was Mordecai. Rigby could smell his cologne as he slipped into their room. Mordecai didn't turn on the lights. Rigby could hear him taking off his clothes and tossing them into the closet. "Oops", thought Rigby, "I'm not supposed to be in his bed", but before Rigby could do anything Mordecai was already approaching the bed. Rigby pretended he was still asleep. Mordecai climbed into his bed. It was dark, so he couldn't see Rigby. Mordecai brushed up against something soft and furry. "Huh?" Mordecai thought, "what's Rigby doing in my bed?". Mordecai lifted up Rigby in his feathery hands and proceeded to carry him to his trampoline. Rigby felt Mordecai's feathery chest brush against his face. This made Rigby blush. Rigby decided to continue fake sleeping, so Mordecai wouldn't know he was enjoying it. Rigby could smell Mordecai's cologne and his natural scent. This was intoxicating to Rigby. Mordecai continued to place Rigby onto his trampoline and pull a blanket over him. Mordecai got back in his bed and fell asleep. Rigby found it easier to fall asleep with his best friend in the room with him…

It was a Saturday morning, so Mordecai and Rigby didn't have to wake up early. Mordecai was awoken to the smell of pancakes and bacon downstairs. "Rigby, wake up!, its already 11 in the morning". Huh, Uhhhh, okay!, moaned Rigby. He pulled the blanket off of his head to see Mordecai stretching. Rigby quickly turned his head to avoid Mordecai seeing him blush. "ummm, Mordecai?" Rigby asked. "What is it, I'm listening" said Mordecai. "I'm sorry for the way I acted last night, you know about not going to the arcade, you were right, I was acting like an immature asshole and I know how much Margret means to you, so I just wanted to tell you I was sor.." Mordecai stopped him " No, man, I'm the one who should be apologizing. It was wrong for me to abandon you like that, and I felt guilty all last night because of it. To make it up to you, I'm taking you to the arcade tonight. I'm buying your tokens and ill pay for your dinner. I promise nothing will make me abandon you either, not even Margret." This made Rigby feel warm inside. "Thanks man, That means a lot", said Rigby. "Now c'mon lets go get some breakfast, I think Pops made pancakes and bacon", said Mordecai.

They both rushed down the stairs to find that Pops had made pancakes and bacon, but Muscleman and Fives had already eaten it all. "Too late Grandmas" yelled Muscleman. "fuck off!, have fun with your food, fatty" yelled Mordecai. Muscleman began to squeal and make crazy noises as he banged his fists on the table. "C'mon Rigby, lets go eat breakfast at the Coffee shop". Ok, man lets go" said Rigby. They proceeded to leave the house and speed away on the cart towards the Coffee shop….
