Rigby felt like he was in an alter reality as he approached Mordecai, who was sitting the cart. He looked straight into Mordecai's eyes and for the first time he could see fatigue and longing in his eyes. Rigby had never taken the time to notice because he had been caught up in his own issues for the past few days. "Whats wrong man?" asked Mordecai as Rigby approched his side of the cart, but did not get on." Umm, we need to talk now in private, its urgent " said Rigby in a very timid tone. "Ummm, okay?" Mordecai answered in a very nervous tone. Mordecai followed Rigby back up to their room. By the time they arrived Rigby began to breath heavily and become very nervous.
    Rigby turned to face Mordecai after he closed the door. His eyes were sincere and Mordecai could tell the matter was serious. "well your probably wondering why I pulled you up here, well its about the journal I found under your bed". Mordecai grew tense and very uncomfortable, knowing what Rigby had read in the journal. He was preparing for total rejection. "Mordecai, I just wanted you to know that the feeling is mutual and I love you with all my heart!". Rigby was crying tears of joy. Mordecai lunged towards Rigby grasping him up into his feathery arms. " You have no idea how I have longed for this moment!, Your the world to me Rigby, but I was afraid to tell you because I thought you would reject me!" Rigby was lost in the extacy of the moment. "Dude, I dont even want to go to the arcade anymore, I just want to spend the night in your arms" said Rigby. This made Mordecai's heart sing. "Sure dude, whatever you want" said Mordecai as he turned out the lights and climbed into bed with the little furry coon in his arms.
    Mordecai lay running his fingers through Rigby's fur in the moonlit bedroom. Rigby's fur was softer than Mordecai had ever imagined."Thank you so much Rigby, you have lifted the weight of the world from my shoulders" Rigby couldn't help but blush. "It really got alot of weight off of my chest too, thank you also for understanding" said Rigby in the most sincere tone that Mordecai had ever heard him speak in. "soo, Margret was just a cover up this whole time?" , " yeah man, I swore to myself that I would keep my homosexuality a secret and that just seemed the best way to. Sorry for keeping secrets." said Mordecai " well, it seems that she is into you" said Rigby. " what do you mean?" " Well, its just that earlier today at the coffee shop she demanded me to stop taking you from her. I kinda accidently told her I liked you, and she threatened to tell you before we left" Mordecai was disgusted by this, he had never known of this side of Margret." Well forget that Bitch, I have you now, so she is nothing to me, said Mordecai as he gently stroked Rigby's bushy tail. "Thats why I love you Mordecai, because you stand for whats right and I find that incredibly attractive" Mordecai blushed at the thought of Rigby thinking he was attractive.
